TOP 6 MISTAKES BY NEET ASPIRANTS
Monotonous study and practice: chemistry and a few prefer physics. Every student has the favorite subject and whenever you start preparing seriously for the entrance exam (NEET), thinks that your favorite subject is more than enough for you to crack the exam. Remember a single subject cannot clear you any competitive exam not and never. Your favorite subject cannot give you 720 / 720.
Lack of focus and a clear target: Do you know human lacks wings like birds but still fly even fly faster and higher, he cannot run faster than panther but he does, he can't beat lion or elephant with power but he does how ? Not because he contains a faster brain and power than above-mentioned creatures but he wanted to fly, he wished to travel faster and that's why he does!! A crystal clear target and focus can maximize your intelligence and performance many times. Remember, sunrays burn paper when focused via the lens, without focus they can’t burn paper.
Lack of confidence: I see many students join B.Sc. or any parallel degree course with NEET preparations or have an optional plan always. Chasing two rabbits is great but you will not catch either, also having two plans shrinks your confidence level, a backup plan always diverts your energy, concentration and brain power and remember all these are vector quantities.
Ignoring NCERT and NCERT EXEMPLAR: Many students try to read only hi-fi books when they have ample amount of time, this thing may prove out to be quite harmful as it is impossible to read every topic from lengthy books and most students end up reading garbage which is not the part of syllabus of their medical entrance exam, so it becomes very essential to read topic to topic from NCERT as well, If you ignore NCERT, MBBS is not going to choose you. Remember NCERT does not mean biology only, physics and chemistry NCERT’S are equally important. Even 'Points to Ponder' section of NCERT physics are recommended by many toppers of NEET.
Turning a deaf ear to your doubts: When you ask doubts you develop clarity of concepts and confidence to apply them effectively in problems. If you ignore your doubts, it is impossible to execute the concepts effectively. Sometimes you are used to be shy with asking doubts and also used to sometimes make a fake "Yes" in understanding the solution of a particular question, whereas actually, you didn't understand it. You are wrong, your fake yes saves the time of teacher but makes your journey longer towards your goal !! So please start asking the smallest doubt, ask again and again until you understand it until teachers start saying, “Fir aa gaya tu ”!!
Being lazy in solving practice problems: DPP and practice /sheet problems must be solved immediately once you get it, If you are not ahead in solving them, then most of your DPP/ sheet discussion classes will be useless and you will feel frustrated. Being lazy and ignoring everything for the last time is the best way to be frustrated and ultimately depressed.
